Dear Readers,
'Ni bula vinaka, ni mala vinaka mai. Dhanayabad,' Warm greetings to you all.
I welcome you to our Website and hopefully, whatever information you seek with regards to St John's College, you will find.
The College celebrated its 50th anniversary as a Secondary School in 2002 and we celebrated our 30th anniversary as a co-educational institute this year, 2003. It is very fitting that we like our many of our counterparts in Fiji and abroad, should expose our students to the world at large through Information Technology (IT).
Our website contains documents in richly formatted texts and pictures. It has information that we like to share with individuals as well as groups across the World.
St John's College is so near to urban areas and yet very much isolated in terms of exposure. The establishment of this Website will bring much needed exposure for the St John's College Community.
I am very grateful to our College Manager, Fr Fabiano Naduva, for agreeing to the setting up of our Internet -e-mail and now our Website. To establish a Website, it is a mammoth responsibility and for me who is a novice in information technology, it was an almost impossible task.
I am very grateful to the many people who have worked tirelessly in its establishment. I would like to pay tribute to our ex students and staff members, especially Paul Tabutoa Amon of Sydney and Kathy Foi of St John's College in initiating the idea and having worked tirelessly in bringing it to reality.
I hope that you will enjoy browsing through our Website.
